What's the minimum age?
Pulvyt is usable from age 16 (with parental consent until 18). The coaching adapts to your level and goal, not your age. Whether you're starting out in high school with just a phone or training for active longevity at 60, the app works with whatever devices you already have.
What level is it for?
Every level. Pulvyt adapts to your starting point, not to a standard. Whether you're running your first 5K or training for an Ironman, the app calibrates the plan to where you are. The algorithm picks up your level within the first few days of use.
What if I'm a complete beginner?
Even better. Beginners have the most to gain from a coach that ramps progressively and prevents you from skipping steps. Pulvyt starts cautious, watches how you respond to the first sessions, and adjusts. No cookie-cutter "run 30 min, 3x per week" that ignores everything else.
What's the minimum data needed to start?
Ideally a watch or a phone tracking activity (Apple Health, Google Fit, Garmin, Strava, Whoop, Oura, Polar, Fitbit, Suunto, Withings, etc. — 17 connectors total). Without any wearable, the app still works but loses 40% of its value. You can always log manually, but automatic coaching depends on passive data.
Does it work if my goal changes?
Yes. You can switch goals anytime in settings, or just tell Pulse in chat ("I want to focus on muscle this month"). The app reconfigures your plan, your nutrition recommendations, and your alerts without breaking your history.
Does it replace my human coach?
Not necessarily. Pulvyt is great for people who don't have (or no longer have) a human coach but still want quality follow-up. If you already have a coach, Pulvyt complements them: you arrive at sessions better prepared, with structured data they can actually use.
Which AI model powers Pulse?
Today, Anthropic's Claude Sonnet. We're evaluating Mistral in parallel to move part of the workload onto European models. Transparent sourcing: we list the models in use in the documentation, and we'll tell you if anything changes.
Available on Android?
v0.1 currently runs on iOS via TestFlight. Android is coming next via Health Connect. If you're on Android, you can still use the web version: everything works, except live workout tracking which needs the native app.
